The App requires access to your device's camera strictly for the purpose of scanning product barcodes and reading ingredient lists. Images processed by the camera are analyzed in real-time and are not saved, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
If a product is not found in our database, you may choose to manually enter the product name and barcode to help other users. This product data is saved to our secure database (Supabase). No personal or identifying information is tied to this submission. It is entirely anonymous.
We use third-party analytics tools (Firebase/Firestore) to collect anonymous, aggregated data about how the App is used (e.g., number of scans, frequency of use, crash reports). This helps us improve the App. This data does not personally identify you.
